Outing: Mother’s Day Wildflower Walk

May 12, 2019

Event Information:

Spring ephemerals – plants that bloom briefly in spring, before the trees leaf out, are one of southern Ontario’s loveliest displays. The mixed forests of Sulphur Springs are carpeted with a variety of these flowers in May and early June. Come join us to explore the various habitats at Sulphur Springs and find what flowering plants appear there in the spring.
Meet at the main parking lot for Sulphur Springs at 1 pm on Sunday afternoon. Register with Nikki May (519) 369-5121, or email saugeenfieldnaturalists@yahoo.ca.
