Exploring the Watersheds in Grey and Bruce Counties

February 21, 2022

Event Information:

Jo-Anne Harbinson will share with us an understanding of the foundations of our watersheds; what’s below our feet, between the soil and the bedrock! She will describe the physical geography and surficial geology that form the watersheds in our area; how that influences the land use in the counties and how it connects and supports our aquatic systems. This talk is a good follow-up to Bob Gray’s presentation on the bedrock geology of the area; how the glaciers formed our landscape, and what are the resulting surficial features, soils and land uses.
