Meeting: “Lake Huron’s coast, and the communities that call it home.”

May 25, 2020

Event Information:

The coastal environments of Lake Huron are diverse, unique, and in some cases globally rare. Overlapping this unique fringe of shoreline are communities with a rich history and heritage based on the environmental resources around them. This presentation will provide some insight into threats currently facing Lake Huron, and the challenges and opportunities coastal communities have now and in the future with living a resilient, sustainable life on Lake Huron’s shores.
Our guest speaker will be Hannah Cann, Coastal Stewardship Co-ordinator for the Lake Huron Centre for Coastal Conservation.
Location: Grace United Church, 310 12th St., Hanover at 7:30 p.m.
