Outing: Fall Stroll through Kinghurst

November 5, 2022
10:00

Event Information:

We will wander along the Kinghurst trails observing how nature gets ready for winter. We will identify trees by their bark and twigs, do the same for shrubs, and watch out for remnants of plants and how they are used by insects for winter homes. There may be mushrooms to consider and signs of animals preparing for the cold months.

Come dressed for a saunter on a cool day. Meet at 10 am at the east entrance. Register at saugeenfieldnaturalists@yahoo.ca and we will arrange car-pooling where possible.
