Outing: Floods, ducks, and waders

April 25, 2020

Event Information:

This annual outing takes us up the Grey-Bruce line from Scone to the flooded Sauble River and Grimston flats. We hope for a variety of water fowl and wading birds and usually find some smaller migrants lurking in the trees and shrubs along the flood.

Meet at the Scone school parking lot at 9:30 a.m. Bring a snack, binoculars, and a spotting scope if you have one. We aim to return to Scone by noon but are sometimes delayed by interesting finds. Car-pool from Scone.
