Bird migration should be in full swing at the end of April. This year we will venture farther afield to the wetlands and shorelines of the Rankin River and associated lakes north and west of Wiarton. Our route home will also give us the chance to have a peek at the floods along the Sauble River.

Meet at the Tim Horton’s in Wiarton at 10:00a.m. Because of the additional distance we will try to arrange car-pooling from our home area. Bring a lunch and drink, binoculars and camera.
