Edith and Ernie Martin built an eco-friendly retreat along the Saugeen River in the 1990s. They still reside on the property, and will lead a tour of the Riverstone Retreat and the surrounding trails on Sunday afternoon. We will learn about eco-friendly building practices in the first part of the tour and afterwards look for spring flora and fauna along the surrounding trails by the river.
Meet at 233639 Concession 2 west of Durham for 1:00 pm. Expect a leisurely stroll on a (hopefully) warm and sunny May afternoon.
