Allan Park Tall Grass Prairie & Forest

Jo-Anne Harbinson and Jim Penner of SVCA led an interesting hike of Allan Park. Even in November we could see the vast changes in the Tallgrass Prairie section as we were educated as to how it came to be. Jim showed an interesting section of the forest that has been managed to produce a new hardwood forest from what was once only vacant land. Photos were taken by John Reaume
