Event Information:

Join us at the Allan Park Conservation Area as we search for the ultimate insect predators. Damselflies and dragonflies are members of the order Odonata – meaning “toothed ones” which reference their awesome mouth parts. This is our clubs 13th outing to look for these predators. Bring binoculars and butterfly nets if you have them as we search for members of this ancient order.

We will explore the region around the main pond as well as the field areas near the Prairie Grass restoration for these magnificent aerial predators.

Meet at 9:00 a.m. at the main parking lot. Contact the leader if there are any questions.
Leader: John Reaume (contact saugeenfieldnaturalists@yahoo.ca) to register and get further details.
