Outing: May Wildflower Walk

May 4, 2022

Event Information:

Spring ephemerals, as they are called, bloom before the trees leaf out in the hardwood forest. Their beauty is fleeting and the forest is well worth at least one visit every year between late April and early June.

Join Kim Sayers on May 4th, 2022 at the east parking lot of Kinghurst Tract, near Harrison Lake, for a Wildflower walk. Starting time is 6:00 p.m. Bring layers as the weather can be variable in May.

We will focus on identifying wildflowers but I am sure we will see some interesting birds too. Contact saugeenfieldnaturalists@yahoo.com to register.
