Outing: Nature Walk at Bognor Marsh

November 9, 2019

Event Information:

The Bognor Marsh is an attractive natural area east of Owen Sound. We have visited there before for both nature walks and the annual “damsels and dragons” outing, but not recently and not in early November when the leaves are gone and the landscape can most easily be seen. There may be colour lingering in the tamaracks as we hike both the wetland and the drier escarpment trails looking for what nature has to offer.
Meet at 10:00 a.m. at the parking area 11km. east of Rockford on Grey County Road 18, north side. This is at the intersection of Sydenham 4th concession south. Pack a lunch or hearty snack, good walking shoes, and perhaps a walking pole.
Register for the outing with Angus Inksetter at 519-364-3331 or angus.inksetter@gmail.com, or with John Reaume at 519-334-9861.
